The "Reservation Roster" provides a comprehensive framework for conducting online admissions into undergraduate programs in Andhra Pradesh. 1. Objective:
   To ensure fair, non-discriminatory, and merit-based admissions while adhering to reservation policies for different social groups.
2. Applicability:
   The rules apply to all government, private aided, private unaided, and autonomous degree colleges in Andhra Pradesh, starting from the academic year 2020-21.
3. Eligibility Criteria:
   Candidates must be Indian nationals and meet local/non-local status requirements as per state regulations. Specific eligibility rules are detailed for various programs like B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., and vocational courses.
4. Merit and Seat Allocation:
   Admissions are based on aggregate marks in the qualifying examination. In case of a tie, preferences include subject marks, English proficiency, and age. Reservations for SC/ST/BC categories, economically weaker sections, and special categories (sports, NCC, ex-servicemen, etc.) are meticulously defined.
5. Special Provisions:
   • Reservation for physically challenged candidates (3% horizontal across categories).
   • Specific quotas for local candidates (85%) and unreserved seats (15%).
6. Implementation:
   The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education oversees the admission process through the Online Admission Module for Degree Colleges (OAMDC). Provisions for spot admissions, coordination committees, and grievance redressal are included to ensure smooth implementation.
